Maybe you have already heard about this, but just thought I'd let you know that Tom has really enjoyed his student teaching. It's been so much better than his internship at Manti. He's thinking he'd like to continue teaching, but there probably won't be any job openings for a while. Guess we'll see what happens.
It was good to see you, Heather and kids, even though it was only for a second at church.

ReplyDeleteI agree--it was fun to have Heather and kiddos visit--Also did everyone know that besides being a well liked student teacher Tom is the assistant track coach for Emery High--specifically the throwing coach.
ReplyDeleteThat's great that Tom likes it! It's funny because the thrower caoch for Layton is the physaics teacher! The other day he gave all of the athletes about physics & track/field...however I won't suggest it Tom because it just flew over the kid's heads!
ReplyDeleteI actually asked Tom if the students at Manti High were no longer angelic :) and he said it wasn't that the students were bad. Oh, and it's so nice to be able to get on and chat.
