I just want to say that I'm a huge fan of the blog thing. I'm usually the only one who writes on the one my family started, but I'm betting you guys will be more involved so it won't end up being the Nancy blog. I love to hear everyone's news and hope you will all keep sharing!

Tel Guymon Family Update

Here's some pictures from Rhian's baby blessing! Quick update: Brooklynn is now 6 months old!!! She LOVES to eat. She looks like a little bird when she eats because she opens her mouth as wide as possible. She can sit, but she loves to wiggle so it doesn't last long. She is beginning to scoot backwards when she is on her belly because she kicks so much.
A funny story, so yesterday Tel found a Bearhawk airplane (it's one of his dream airplanes that he hopes to build some day) that is 85% finished and for sale for a killer price. So Tel was trying to figure out what he could sale in order to get the money to pay for it. So he was listing everything "he" owns- his plane, his truck, his bike, his guns, etc. When he mentioned guns, Joselyn got very concerned and said "No daddy, DON'T SELL THE GUNS!"
And yes Angela, you can join the Layton High Track Team (as long as you do your work-outs and submit them back into me each week)! And yes technically Amy I do have 4 jobs (mom, carone fitness, heritage makers, and now track), but the beauty is that I've paused the "carone fitness" & "heritage makers" for the next to months. I also am going to have a student manager who is strictly just in charge of watching the kids during practice. They love playing outside so this counts as the time we would have been just playing outside anyway (and my exercise time too). And yes Marie, we are hoping that by getting involved with things that it will speed up the flight slot thing. We "waited around" last year afraid to do anything because we "might" be gone. Finally, we both got sick of "waiting" to live our lives. So when I heard that they didn't have a coach and were going to send the athletes to a rival school to workout I couldn't let it happen. My experience of competing in track and field in High School was so full of special moments & learning experiences that I felt like it was my turn to "pay it forward". Life around here may get a little crazy for the next two months, but I will get to live one of my "dreams". Then we will be off to AL to live Tel's dream for two years. Even if Tel got a call saying he was leaving tomorrow, the track season would be finished before I was expected to be in AL so I think we are "safe". So there you have it, my "Why?"

The first post

I don't really have any news - I just wanted to be the first one.
